Dirigo Paint Co. was founded by Diego Anastacio and his wife, Jesse, with a shared belief that exceptional work begins with exceptional care.
Originally from Brazil, Diego came to the United States in 2019 and has spent the past six years refining his craft in residential and commercial painting. His experience includes working in some of New England's most beautiful homes and communities—from historic Connecticut to coastal Maine and Martha's Vineyard—where he developed a deep appreciation for precision, preparation, and attention to detail.
Those experiences became the foundation for Dirigo: a company built on craftsmanship, honesty, professionalism, and respect for every space we enter.
Why Dirigo?
Dirigo is Latin for “I lead” and the state motto of Maine—a place that holds special meaning for Diego and Jesse, who were married there.
For us, the name represents our commitment to leading each project with integrity, thoughtful guidance, and exceptional care—from the first conversation to the final detail.
Today, Diego brings that same standard to homes and businesses throughout Denver and the surrounding communities.
When he's not painting, you'll likely find Diego exploring Colorado's mountains, fishing, camping, or spending time with Jesse and their dog.
Our Process
Throughout every step of the process, we provide meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful care, ensuring your vision is brought to life with precision.
1. Initial Consultation
We'll begin by assessing the project and discussing your timeline, colors, and overall vision. No matter what space you're transforming, we pay close attention to every detail to ensure your goals are fully understood. After the initial consultation, we'll provide a detailed estimate within 24 hours.
2. Design & Approval
Once you approve the estimate, we'll finalize colors, timeline, scheduling, and any other details of the project before preparing for the transformation phase.
3. Preparation & Painting
Once the transformation phase begins, we'll arrive on site at the scheduled time and begin with the prep phase, carefully protecting and preserving your space throughout the project. From preparation through the final coat, every step is approached with the same attention to detail.
4. Final Walkthrough
Upon completion, we'll walk through the space with you to ensure everything meets the high standards we stand by and that you're happy with the finished result. We'll take final photos and complete any remaining paperwork before wrapping up the project.
